The Festival’s Program
Days 1-4: Armenia Art Journey
15 internationally recognized watercolor masters and a limited number of participants form a tightly-knit creative community — living, traveling, and painting together. A fascinating discovery of Armenia’s rich cultural heritage, history, cuisine with accommodation in high-quality Armenian family-run hotels.
Days 5-8: Gyumri Watercolor Days
The event continues in Gyumri, where the worldwide network of watercolor artists gathers for sharing their art, honing their skills, and celebrating their love for watercolor painting. Gyumri Watercolor Days offer a series of master classes (subject to registration) as well as free events.

- Tour of Yerevan
- Grand opening of the festival and the exhibition

15.09.2026: Day 2
- Departure to the 1st century pagan temple of Garni
- Plein air with world famous watercolorists
- Temple tour
- Visit to the Geghard Cave Monastery
- Dinner at a rural restaurant
- Return to Yerevan
16.09.2026: Day 3
- Visiting the closest location to the Mount Ararat
- Plein air
- Excursion at Khor-Virap Monastery
- Wine tasting in the Winery Areni
- Lunch in the boutique winemaker’s house
- Excursion at Noravank Monastery
17.09.2026: Day 4
- We move to the cultural capital of Armenia, the city of Gyumri
- On our way we stop for a plein air near the picturesque Kasakh gorge…
- … and visit the Saghmosavank monastery complex
- Dinner at a fish farm
18.09.2026: Day 5
- City tour of Gyumri
- Demos and Master classes in studio format
- Dinner in a very colorful restaurant
19.09.2026: Day 6
- Demos and Master classes in studio format

Conditions & Fees
Full participation format
- Accommodation in a twin shared room (single room extra 200 euro)
- Breakfasts and dinners
- Festival’s opening and closing banquets
- Transfers according to the program during the Festival
- Participation in all plein airs according to the program
- Museum tickets and tours with a professional guide
- Participation fee: 1600 euro
- The discounted participation fee for master classes is 150 euro for each selected master class
Solo participation format
- We guarantee your participation in up to 4 master classes, and you can express interest in 4 additional master classes, which we will do our best to organize when the program timeline permits
- Participation fee for master classes is 180 euro per each selected master class
Optional: exhibition and catalogue
- Participation in the exhibition only: 100 euro
- Participation in both the exhibition and the catalogue: 150 euro
Requirements for participation in the exhibition and catalogue:
- Applications including high-quality photos of the artworks must be sent to info@arvesta.am
- File format: JPEG, minimum resolution: 300 dpi
- Application deadline for Participation in the exhibition and catalogue: July 22, 2026
- Originals of the selected works must be delivered to Yerevan by August 14, 2026, delivery address will be provided in the confirmation email
- All shipping costs (including return) are the responsibility of the participant
- The organizers are not liable for loss, damage, or delays during shipment
- Each work must be signed and dated
- Please include the year of creation and the artist’s full name on the back of the artwork
